The synthetic fur saddle “German Riding” is a robust saddle that combines the riding comfort of a real fur saddle with the easy-care properties of synthetic fur.
The saddle gives the horse optimal freedom of movement. The horse’s movements are transmitted directly to the rider. Riding with a fur saddle trains the rider’s position and sense of balance.
Upper and lower material are made of easy-care synthetic fur. The saddlecloth in between, firmly sewn on the underside, is robust and hard-wearing. The upper material can easily be removed with a zipper, so that the saddlecloth underneath can also be used for riding.
Fixed knee rolls and a stable cantle roll ensure a secure hold.
The foam insert in the back area provides sufficient padding. This can be easily removed through a Velcro opening and re-upholstered as required.
Basically, fur saddles and other bareback pads are ridden without stirupps. The possibility of strirrup suspension is given with this saddle. We recommend using stirrups only for leisurely stride riding.
